Set your intentions – what you expect and want to achieve in your affiliate business the next day – the night before and then keep your alarm clock across the room – that will get you moving in the morning, first thing after you wake up go and brush your teeth, then drink a full glass of water, and finally change to your work out clothes. Silence:

Silence

as affiliate marketers, we often create written or speaking content and our minds may start to wander off. Right after you wake up, probably thousands of thoughts start flooding your brain. Thoughts about what you have to do today, where you need to be, whom you should talk to, how you are gonna get through the day. I know it from my own experience and therefore is important to silence these thoughts and concentrate on what is NOW. I usually take deep breaths while still in my bed and try to be in silence, in peace (trust me, your thoughts will wait for you). Take this time just for yourself just being present and not worrying, for instance.

Affirmations

I love affirmations, they are very powerful tools that set your day right. They are basically positive statements about yourself and your life that you write down and then read out loud. In the present time, you manifest what it is you want from life. For example, I am healthy and happy, I attract money into my life. I am successful in all areas of my life. The more detailed they are, the better. For best results, affirmations should be used/read in the morning and then before sleep.

Visualization:

Success

Similar to affirmations, visualizations make you aware of your thoughts and imagination. You visualize what you wish to come true. Close your eyes and think of all you want to manifest in your life. Imagine the other senses too. Touch it, smell it, taste it, feel it, hear it and see it. Even better, make a visualization board where you put up pictures of things that are important to you to have in your life. Place the board somewhere where you can see it every day.

tackles your entire body but also your brain and soul. Certain chemicals are being released from the brain that are linked to happiness. Regular exercise helps tremendously with feelings of anxiety thus your mental health needs it too. Just going for a short 2-3 mile walk will make you feel much better. Your stamina, flexibility, and performance will increase once you incorporate exercise into your life.

Reading:

Reading

the more you read, the more you know. And the more you know the quality of your life is better. You feel less anxious. Reading expands your horizons and opens new doors. Reading non-fiction books also teaches you new skills that you can implement into your life. I like to read books that make me think and add to my goals. If you are not big on reading, go with audiobooks. I would say 70% of books I consume are in audio format. Reading/listening rocks! Also, podcasts and other spoken content about affiliate marketing sharpen my and your business journey.

Scribing (journaling):

Journaling

I love journaling. I have been writing down my thoughts on and off for many years. Think it, ink it, they say and it is true. Jot your ideas down, reflect on your day, write down your thoughts. It feels so great to put all your problems on paper as well as share your happy moments. You can then reflect on all you have lived through. Decide where you are going to write your diary. You can either type in your laptop in one of the apps (I love Evernote) or you can decide for the good old paper diary. Writing and reflecting in the morning will have a positive outcome for the day.

Visualization puts a clear picture of what you want in your brain and exercise helps you get the body going. Finally, reading and scribing feed your inner self with ideas and goals.
